Shanti Memorial Hospital is named after Late Mrs. Shantilata Patnaik, mother of the present CMD, Dr. Sreejoy Patnaik.
Dr Sreejoy Patnaik
Dr. Sreejoy Patnaik is the youngest son of late Sri Gopal Chandra Patnaik & Late Mrs. Shantilata Patnaik of Patnaik Colony, Thoria Sahi, Cuttack.
Dr. Sreejoy Patnaik was born on 21st February 1961 at Cuttack. His father Mr. Gopal Chandra Patnaik, was a pioneer Industrialist of the State of Odisha in Late 50’s. He was the first entrepreneur to start Automobile business in the state. He reigned on his business empire for almost 4 decades with pride & pleasure.
His mother Mrs. Shantilata Pattnaik was a lovable lady with whose inspiration Dr. Pattnaik could dream of a hospital after her name as per his mother’s last wish.
Doctor Rekha Das
He got married to Dr. Rekha Das, second daughter of Mr. Sarat Ch. Das of Badambadi, Cuttack on 22nd November 1989. She is an embodiment of love , compassion and devotion , who has proved herself to be a successful life partner of Dr. Sreejoy Patnaik.
Dr. Rekha Das completed her MBBS Course and did M.D. in Anesthesiology 1992 . After that she joined Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Research Institute as a Lecturer in Dept. of Anesthesiology in 1997 and today she is continuing as Asst. Prof. In the same dept.
He has been blessed with two children namely a son Abhinav(Raj) on 18th January1994 and a daughter Aditi @ Anna on 23rd December 1998. Both are now bloosming well in the garden of academics and culture and mounting the steps of success one after another.
